The Rotary Club of the Vale of Belvoir is holding a charity Talent competition for all age groups and any type of act. All the profits raised by our club will be donated to a number of charities, which will include Life Education Centre (a charity providing drug prevention education and health promotion for children in Primary schools), Books for Life, Thanks for Life (Rotary’s charity to eradicate polio worldwide), Air Ambulance,  Marie Curie Cancer Care, Nottingham University Hospital Prostate Cancer Appeal.

“The Vale’s Got Talent” is a competition to find the most talented individual or group of people who will be judged by experienced professionals in music, theatre and the arts.

 

We encourage applications from all ages and abilities to take part in the first ever “The Vale’s Got Talent” competition and details of the full terms & conditions can be found on this web site.

 

Auditions will take place at The British Legion, Radcliffe-on-Trent on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th September 2010 with judges voting for acts to go through to the semi-finals.

 

The semi-finals will be held on Sundays 17th and 24th October 2010 at Grange Hall, Radcliffe-on-Trent with a live audience. A sound and lighting crew will be on hand to ensure that each act is professionally staged.

 

The Grand Final will feature the best acts in the competition, and will be held at Grange Hall on Saturday 30th October  with an expected sell out audience.

To mark the occasion an official program for the Semi Finals and the Grand Final will be produced, and will be available on the night.
 

The Winner of “The Vale’s Got Talent” will receive £300 and the winners trophy;

2nd and third places will receive trophies and £100 and £50 respectively.

All finalists will be presented with a personalised certificate.
