In October 2010 the Rotary Club of the Vale of Belvoir held its first ever charity
Talent competition for all age groups and any type of act. All the profits raised
by our club were donated to a number of charities, which included Life Education
Centre (a charity providing drug prevention education and health promotion for children
in Primary schools), Books for Life, Thanks for Life (Rotary’s charity to eradicate
polio worldwide), Air Ambulance, Marie Curie Cancer Care,
Nottingham University
Hospital Prostate Cancer Appeal,
and our own community fund.
This year we have increased the prize money to:
£400 for the first prize
£200 for second place
£100 for third place
The audition charge remains at £3.00 per act.
